BrilMind.org is an independent merit-based pilot to recognise Class 12 Computer Science students in India. It is not affiliated with any school, board, or government body. It is not a lottery or game of chance.

By registering, paying, uploading documents, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Parental Consent Form.

Class 12 participants are treated as children under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (anyone under 18). Students cannot register themselves, cannot pay the fee, and cannot upload School ID or marksheet.

A parent or legal guardian must: (a) sign in, (b) complete the Parental Consent Form, (c) pay ₹9 from the parent’s UPI or card, and (d) upload documents. The parent is legally responsible for the student’s participation and for the accuracy of data.

• Parental consent is mandatory before any personal data of the student is processed.
• Only the parent/guardian may authorise and make payment (Indian Contract Act, 1872 — minors cannot bind themselves to a contract).
• The parent must verify and authorise all data uploaded.

The student must be enrolled in Class 12 for 2026–27, studying Computer Science, at a school in India (CBSE, ICSE, or State Board), typically aged 15–18. A mother or father may register up to 3 students on one account; a legal guardian may register up to 10. The same student (same name and date of birth) cannot be registered twice by the same parent or guardian. Duplicates may be merged or disqualified without refund.

A one-time fee of ₹9 is payable by the parent/guardian during registration (UPI or card when payment is enabled). The fee is non-refundable except if the program is cancelled because verified signups stay below 1,000 by 31 January (the close of participation each year), in which case 100% is refunded to the original parent payment method within 30 days.

Failed charges are not billed. Retry windows and payment processors will be stated at checkout.

Winners are selected solely on verified Class 12 Computer Science marks. The number of winners depends on total verified registrations:

• Below 1,000 signups: program cancelled with full refund
• 1,000–4,999 signups: 5 winners
• 5,000–9,999 signups: 10 winners
• 10,000–19,999 signups: 15 winners
• 20,000–49,999 signups: 20 winners
• 50,000+ signups: 30 winners

Prizes follow the milestone unlocked at the close of registration. Ranking is by Computer Science marks.

If Computer Science marks are tied, this order applies:

• Highest marks in Computer Science
• Highest marks in Mathematics
• Higher overall percentage
• Older candidate (by date of birth)
• Computer-generated random selection

The parent uploads a valid School ID at registration and the official Class 12 marksheet after board results, no later than 30 September. Forged, edited, or misleading documents mean immediate disqualification without refund (except where the law requires otherwise).

We collect student personal data only with verifiable parental consent. Consent covers collection, document storage, marks processing, program communications to parent and student, and prize logistics if applicable.

Parents may request access, correction, deletion (subject to legal and program-integrity limits), portability, or withdrawal of consent. Withdrawal ends participation. We aim to respond to data requests within 30 days. Contact privacy@brilmind.org.

Data is kept for the program and a reasonable period afterward (about two years after the program for disputes; payment records longer if the law requires). Then it is deleted or anonymised.

Grounds include false information, duplicate registration, fake documents, ineligibility, impersonation, missing marksheet by 30 September, or harassment of other participants.

The program is offered as a pilot. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the ₹9 fee paid. Governing law is India. Consumer rights under applicable Indian law are not excluded.

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page and, where practical, emailed to the parent. Continued participation after notice constitutes acceptance.
